Manchester United appointed Ralph Rangnick as an interim manager after parting away with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The red devil has seen seven men take charge since the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson. Out of seven managers, four came in as permanent and three men filled in as interim or caretaker roles. Ralph Rangnick was appointed as an interim manager to handle the team until the summer of the 2021-2022 season.

Now, that the deadline for Ralph Rangnick is near Manchester United will be looking for a permanent manager. Considering the need, we will look at some of the potential candidates for the next united Boss. Let’s look at the runners and riders as the next manager:
Mauricio Pochettino
Manchester United will surely go for Argentine manager Pochettino this summer. United has tried to sign him in the past but unfortunately, the timing did not go well with the Argentine. However, this time the Argentine could end up at Old Trafford at the end of 2022.

Mauricio has the experience of working with the superstars like Neymar, Kylian Mbappe, and Lionel Messi at Paris Saint-Germain. Also, as per reports, Mauricio could be leaving PSG since he is not happy with the French club. Therefore, Poch will be the first choice for United this summer.
Erik ten Hag
Erik ten Hag comes second in the choice of United’s probable manager. Hag is currently managing Eredivisie giants Ajax since 2017. Also, the success he gained with Ajax has placed him on the list of UTD successors. More to that, the Dutch manager is best known for working with young players.

Moreover, Erik managed to reach the semifinal of the Champions League with the young squad. Likewise, Hag has the experience of developing youngsters during his time at the Bayern Munich B team. Therefore, he will be easy to bring in since he wants to take up a new challenge. As per sources, he wants to take up the new challenge to develop himself as the manager. Therefore, United could be the perfect place for him to work with a set of young players like Jaden Sancho, Rashford, Elanaga to name a few.
Diego Simeone
Diego Simeone is another such probable manager to land at Old Trafford. The Argentine has been the Atletico Madrid manager since 2011. Also, Simeone has experience both as a player and a manager. He took Atletico to new heights as the manager winning two Laliga, Copa Del Rey, Europa, Super cup. Additionally, he led Atletico Madrid to two Champions League finals with the set of average players.

Furthermore, Simeone could be the ideal candidate because of his experience. Also, Simeone could leave Atletico to break the monotony and to prove himself in England. Thus, Manchester could consider him as the choice for the next manager this summer.
Zinedine Zidane
Zidane Zidane has been linked to the Premier League for a long time. The French legend’s name is linked with a club such as Chelsea, Tottenham, and Manchester united. However, there is little chance of Zidane being a Reds manager since PSG wants him to replace Pochettino.
Other Candidates
Other candidates who could be the new manager of Manchester United are former Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa or Luis Enrique. The two managers are considered on the list because of their availability. Furthermore, Gareth Southgate, Roy Keane, and Gary Neville could step forward as the new boss. Similarly, ex-Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers could get a chance at Old Trafford.
